Our Company

We are on a mission to shift perspectives on plastic by empowering stakeholders toward resource-efficient and optimised handling.

In 2021, Ricarda Redeker founded Project Plastic Extinction in Düsseldorf, starting with a simple clean-up initiative that soon grew into an international movement. Her journey along the Silk Route, spanning nine countries from Germany to India, exposed her to the complex realities of plastic waste — from recycling plants and innovative circular economies to refugee camps struggling with plastic dependency.

Carrying these insights across borders, Ricarda returned with a powerful vision: to build a world where plastics are not discarded but reimagined, where waste becomes value, and where every community has the tools to break free from plastic’s grip.

Every small act of reducing plastic consumption is part of a circular revolution.

We sees plastic pollution not just as waste, but as part of interconnected systems — what happens locally affects rivers, oceans, ecosystems globally.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

"Project Plastic Extinction is a reminder that change begins with choice, and every choice we make can help end plastic’s grip on our planet."
